Learn
To Dive
At first anyone, even children (+8 years), can learn to dive. Diving does not require a prior physical background, although there are certain physical requirements that must be met, such as those with respiratory problems who must apply for medical permission to dive. Diving can even be a great therapy, both for the elderly, because of the weightlessness of water, and for people with some kind of disability for whom the practice of this sport can pose a rewarding challenge and overcoming it. The lightness of the marine environment and the freedom of movement possible in it make the practice of this sport enormously beneficial for those whose physical handicap poses a mobility problem. Blindness or paraplegia are also no barriers to scuba diving, although the start of training requires a diving medical professional to supervise each aspirant and have some limitations.
Cozumel is a perfect setting to learn how to dive because its waters are calm, warm and crystal clear.
To learn how to dive, you can take two paths:
- Discover Scuba Diving The introduction course to diving or Resort Course is approximately 3 hours. This course is taught by an instructor and generally learned to dive, the rules of diving, to use the equipment, and diving in confined waters (a swimming pool), finishing the theory and diving in confined waters is done in an open sea diving at a depth less than 7 meters, always accompanied by the instructor. This course doesn't qualify you for diving.
- Open Water Certification

Respect
Nature. What you find in the sea, you live in the sea, don't touch it.
